Utah (2-5): Lost 21-7 to Oregon State. Utah turned the ball over four times, so despite having more yards of total offense (307 to 227) and more time of possession (34:28 to 25:32) the Utes lost their fourth game in a row. Oregon State scored 14 points off of turnovers on two drives that totaled 26 yards.

No. 21 Boise State (6-1): Beat UNLV 32-7. Boise State beat up a terrible UNLV (1-7) team. Each team had three turnovers, but the Boise State defense limited the Rebels to 210 yards of total offense. UNLV’s lone score came in the fourth quarter after it was already 32-0.

Utah State (6-2): Defeated New Mexico State 41-7. The Utah State Aggies continued to roll. They are now 2-0 in WAC play. Quarterback Chuckie Keeton had another big day passing for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 81 yards and 2 more touchdowns. New Mexico State didn’t help themselves by turning the ball over two times.

Georgia Tech (3-4): Beat Boston College 37-17. The Yellow Jackets amassed 563 yards of total offense, and limited the Eagles to just 296. Georgia Tech had an absurd time of possession advantage of 43:37 to 16:15. Four Yellow Jackets had over 50 yards rushing. Georgia Tech quarterback Vad Lee completed only two passes, but they were for 45 and 44 yards.

Idaho (1-7): Lost to Louisiana Tech, 70-28. Idaho gave up 839 yards of offense to Louisiana Tech, and despite Tech turning the ball over three times, they still scored 70 points. Enough said.

San Jose State (5-2): Beat Texas-San Antonio, 52-24. San Jose State gave up 412 yards of offense to UTSA, and only had 374 yards. Six turnovers by UTSA was the difference. San Jose State jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter.
