Weber State (2-9): Beat Idaho State, 40-14. Weber State built an insurmountable 25-0 lead in the first half. Idaho State tried to make the game interesting by outscoring Weber State 14-0 in the third quarter, but Weber State added 13 more points to win running away. Weber State had 417 rushing yards to Idaho State’s 1 yard. C.J. Tuckett had 289 of those 417 rushing yards.

Utah (4-7): Lost to Arizona, 34-24.Freshman quarterback Travis Wilson passed for 311 yards, but Arizona rushed for 320 yards. Utah trailed 17-7 early in the game, but took a 24-17 lead at the end of the third quarter. Arizona scored two touchdowns in the first four minutes of the final quarter and added a field goal with 1:15 to play for insurance.

Boise State (9-2): Beat Colorado State, 42-14. Boise State scored on an 80-yard touchdown run on their first offensive play. D.J. Harper who scored on the run would finish the game with 107 rushing yards. Boise State quarterback Joe Southwick was nearly perfect completing 17-20 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns. The game was over at halftime with the Broncos leading 35-0. Colorado State had just 229 yards of total offense.

Hawaii (1-9): Lost to Air Force, 21-7. Hawaii jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a touchdown on the first possession of the game. They held that lead until 12:13 in the second quarter when Air Force tied the game. The Cadets wouldn’t take the lead until 10:43 remained in the third quarter. Hawaii had just 162 yards of total offense, including 37 rushing yards. Air Force did not attempt a pass, and gained 338 yards rushing.

Utah State (9-2): Beat No. 20 Louisiana Tech, 48-41 OT. Utah State held on to win after blowing a 17-point fourth quarter lead. Utah State jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. The lead remained 14 after Utah State and Louisiana Tech traded field goals in the second quarter. The third quarter was wild with a combined 45 points scored. Utah State pushed its lead to 27-3 with 11:34 to play in the third. With one minute left in the third period, Utah State scored a touchdown to take a 41-17 lead. Louisiana Tech returned the kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, which set off a 24-0 run by Tech to tie the game on the final play of regulation with a 32-yard field goal. Utah State won in overtime by scoring a touchdown, and then stopping Louisiana Tech.
The teams combined for 1275 yards of total offense. Utah State have over 300 yards rushing and passing, each.

No. 15 Oregon State (8-2): Beat Cal, 62-14. Oregon State killed the Cal Bears with a strong performance from Sean Mannion at quarterback. He passed for 325 yards and 4 touchdowns replacing an injured Cody Vaz. Oregon State had 559 yards of total offense. The Beavers defense forced four turnovers (3 fumbles, 1 interception). A touchdown pass with 15 seconds left in the first half gave Oregon State a 35-7 advantage at the break.

No. 1 Notre Dame (11-0): Beat Wake Forest, 38-0. Notre Dame moved to no. 1 in the BCS standings following a 38-0 win, and upsets to No. 1 Kansas State and No. 2 Oregon. Notre Dame was all business taking a 31-0 halftime lead after scoring on a 68-yard run on the first series of the game, and then forcing a turnover on defense. Notre Dame had a 584 to 209 advantage in total yards. The Irish had 363 passing yards.

Georgia Tech (6-5): Beat Duke, 42-24. The Yellow Jackets secured bowl eligibility by beating the Blue Devils. Georgia Tech is tied for first in the ACC Costal Division, but Miami has self-imposed a ban on post-season play. Therefore, Georgia Tech will play Florida State in the ACC Championship game. Georgia Tech pulled away from Duke with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and by shutting out Duke in the final period. All three Georgia Tech touchdowns in the second half were passes. The Yellow Jackets ran for 330 yards and held Duke to 275 total yards (198 pass).

Idaho (1-9): Lost to Texas-San Antonio, 34-27. After trailing 20-3 at halftime, Idaho scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to make it a three point game with 15 minutes to play. UTSA outscored Idaho 14-10 in the fourth quarter to win. Penalties hurt Idaho. The Vandals finished the game with 12 penalties for 100 yards. UTSA had just five penalties for 50 yards. Idaho had 45 more yards of total offense than UTSA (469-424), but turned the ball over three times.
